Vangelis and Stathis Xygkoros were born and raised in Kalamata. From a young age, they were among the vineyards, spending every day at the family winery, which began making wine back in 1930. First it was their grandfather, Vangelis, then his son Takis \u2014 the father of Vangelis and Stathis. A whole life overflowing with love, passion, and dedication to the vineyards, the harvests, the grape musts, and their wines\u2026<\/p>\n
The boys grew up, studied, and started families of their own.<\/p>\n
But they never truly drifted away from their roots. They were steeped in the tradition of winemaking, nurtured by the land and the labor it demands.<\/p>\n
They loved their homeland and returned to it, determined to carry on the family legacy \u2014 bringing with them fresh ideas and deep knowledge.<\/p>\n
